Bob is a former 35 year veteran business leader with GE Capital’s Commercial Real Estate business. During the collapse of the early '90's he directed their internal "Bad Bank". He set strategy and organized a team of 145 real estate professionals who successfully resolved GE Real Estate’s multi-billion dollar problem portfolio. In 1990, Bob was promoted to Vice President of GE Capital Corp. and helped establish GE Real Estate’s global investment and business strategy. In his last 10 years at GE he rose to the position of Senior Vice President of Global Asset Management. In that capacity he created and directed GE Real Estate’s Global Asset Management Operations. He was responsible for $85 billion in investments and managed a global staff of 650 professionals located in 45 offices across 28 countries. Bob retired from GE in 2008, launched RESI, maintains his extensive network of real estate owner operator relationships, and continues to mentor a large network of real estate professionals.

Bob is a proven Commercial Real Estate Investment and Transaction Manager with over 10 years diversified institutional and private real estate experience. He joined Real Estate Solutions & Investments in January 2013 working full time principally as an Asset Manager for Pilot Real Estate Group (a private real estate equity family office). At Pilot, Bob was responsible for a Chicago Real Estate Investment Portfolio that involved acquiring, repositioning, and selling distressed surplus condo / multi family properties. In addition, Bob originated, structured, and closed smaller commercial real estate bridge loan investments with third party real estate owner operators forging mutually beneficial strategic relationships providing recurring, risk adjusted returns. In 2016 Bob joined Peaceable Street Capital, a private firm providing Preferred Equity Capital to owners and developers of income producing commercial real estate. Bob currently serves as a Director at Peaceable Street Capital with functional responsibilities including: Due Diligence, Underwriting, Closing Transactions, and Asset Management. Bob was previously employed (2007 through 2012) by Kimco Realty Corp (S&P 500 REIT) and served as an Associate Transaction Manager within the Risk & Large Transaction Group with responsibility for retail acquisition underwriting for single property and portfolio transactions. Bob graduated from Bentley University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Honors in Financial Management.
